Slideshow: Cartoons and Drawings
I love to use my cartoon art to bring my individuality into projects, both as a student and as an educator. These are examples of some of the art I have made:
Group Project: Reinventing Traditional Learning Spaces
I collaborated with this group to create a think piece about transforming traditional learning environments from physical learning spaces to digital spaces, we produced both a paper and a corresponding media presentation. My contributions focused on the blended learning classroom as a learning space, and the teacher's role in blended learning.
Implementation Plan for NLS: The Pirates of Ashley!
I wrote this implementation plan for the Networked Learning Space (NLS) I designed for a third grade math class.
Write up for Laws of Simplicity: Self Paced Professional Development
I wrote this text as a companion to the Laws of Simplicity website I developed. This paper goes thought my planning process, and served as a reflection space for what I learned from the experience.
Research Project: Engaging Struggling Readers with Comics
I conducted a research project looking at using comics as engaging content for struggling readers, this project included a literature review and an annotated bibliography.
Write up for Heroines of STEM Google Classroom LMS
I created a self contained online course for a girls of STEM after-school club, the cosponsoring write up included a paper that links to a set of supporting artifacts.
Summery of Feedback for Pirates of Ashley! NLS
I summarized and reflected on feedback, from my professor and peers, concerning a draft of the Pirates of Ashley! NLS, and then report on how that reflection guided the changes made to my NLS.
